A healthy update to what was the best fighting game this console generation and all for $40.

GRAPHICS:8.5
The exact same graphics as the original which look stellar to say the least, although some characters do look a tad bit better in their native 2D. But the opposite can be said as well, some characters look better than ever before.

SOUND:10
This time around, EVERYONE had their songs remixed (except those who already had their music superbly remixed in Street Fighter IV). Needless to say, the new music is down right awesome and really enjoyable. So much so, Capcom should release the soundtrack for purchase on itunes or digital download. The voice acting is professionally done, most character voices you will recognize from animes and other video games. For the 1st time ever in a fighting game, you can actually leave the English on for most characters rather than turning ALL the voices Japanese because the English voice acting is so terrible. As far as sound effects go, it's Street Fighter so you know it's good.

PLAYABILITY:9
Newcomers can definitely get into this and have some serious fun and there is a lot here for the hardcore as well. With the character tweaks, new moves, and Ultras, there is much to learn and one hell of a game to be played. With that being said, if you don't have a grasp of the new features and abilities, don't expect to win a lot competitively. Learning the ins and outs of this game to a respectable level can be hard and possibly frustrating for any newcomer. Although, if you just want to pal around and have some fun, then the game is user friendly enough for that too. If you want to win and win often, expect to do some hard work that isn't ALWAYS a blast.

ENTERTAINMENT:10
This game oozes fun and there is just so much to see and do. Besides learning all the characters, there are new character intros and endings to see, along with rival battles. This game is just as entertaining as Street Fighter IV and then some. You can sit for hours and smash your friends head in online or face to face in many different ways and in entertaining new modes of play. And if you are lonely with no internet, you can barrel through arcade mode to view and play through the stories of 35 characters and that's always fun.

REPLAY VALUE:9.5
With all the new stuff mentioned above and the new revamped online which includes things like Endless Battle(fight players continuously none stop until you are defeated and if you are, the person who beats you takes your place and you can watch everyone try and take them out until it's your tun again), Team Battle (join or host a team of 1-4 to take on another team of 1-4, elimination style) and The Replay Channel (watch replays of all your battles and the battles of others you have saved. You can even view the input comands of the characters to see what buttons the players were pressing during the battle). The only bad thing is, Endless, Team and The Replay Channel are only available on Xbox Live or Playstation Network. Unfortunately, none of these awesome modes of play are avaliable for local matches. The Trail Mode is still there and a bit easier this time around. Sad to say that Survival, Time Attack and Gallery Modes are all gone, though.

OVERALL:10
This is better than Street Fighter IV in almost every way possible. If your are a Street Fighter fan or a fighting fan, this is a must buy. If you want to get into the fighting game scene, this is the best game out right now to do it. This package is surely the best fighting game to have come out on the current generation consoles and will win the "Fighting Game of The Year" award at any place, site, or publication issuing it.
