Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood

Call of Juarez Bound In Blood is great. While it's far from perfect, it delivers where it counts. great story, great voice acting. Fun game play and graphics that really capture the old west. Yes it's mostly linear but that's not a bad thing! So many non linear games are boring and lack intensity. Pick up this game now. If you like westerns, you'll love it.Get more detail about Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood.

Lord of the Rings: Conquest Review

In a nutshell this game was pretty much like any hack n slash game like samurai warriors or a lord of the rings version of star wars battlefront. Sadly most of this game fun was within the online section of this game for the campaign mode is about 3 hours long if that. But now [...]takes-nine-more-games-offline this game has been unplugged basically YOU CANNOT PLAY THIS GAME WITH XBOX LIVE ANYMORE. Same goes for the pc and ps3 version of this game.

With that said ya it use to be my favorite hack n slash game but now ya.... dont buy it if anything rent it for four dollars or gamefly it for a week.Get more detail about Lord of the Rings: Conquest.

Dirt 2 This instant

I love racing games but after playing a bunch of NFS, Forza and PGR knew that there was no way for me to get to the next level without upgrading to the wheel/pedal/shifter setup. Unfortunately, there is just not enough finesse to the driving when you are forced to drive at 100+ mph with an unpredictable, white knuckled, slippery left thumb; but, in addition to Guitar Hero gear, I don't have room for all of that crap nor do I have an appropriate table (or special racing chair) to attach the wheel to?! The beauty of Dirt2 (and Dirt) is that your driving is more about zen/jedi minor correction driving than it is about perfect control. You will be using, light feathering on the gas to keep your speed up and control-wise you are working to line up jumps, start a drift and hand brake around loose hairpins. The rest of it is pure adrenalin and rebel yells. I recommend this game to anybody who loves Rally (too bad it isn't more publicised in the US) and to anyone who wants to fully enjoy the XBOX racing experience without the need for a seperate racing rig in the middle of your living room (or lap).Get more detail about Dirt 2.

WET Immediately

I actually bought this game to satisfy a $10 game credit I had that was about to expire, but to be completely honest, WET was a great surprise. The gameplay is ALOT of fun, the storyline isn't bad, the best way to describe this game?

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock - Xbox 360 Best Quality

Guitar Hero III is not compatible with other XBOX guitar than the one designed for the game. I was excited with the game, it has great music but the compatibility issue has made the game totally useless. I've tried to play it once with the controller and there are only a few songs available from the beginning, very limited choice.
Game is for guitar only, neither bass nor battery. Another turn down.

Tropico 3 Get it now!

I've really been looking forward to any kind of simulation game for xbox so when tropico 3 came out, I was excited. After playing the game for a few hours, I found that it didn't really have the depth that I was expecting. I felt as though I was constantly battling being in debt, and the camera system did not make things easier.

All around it is an OK game, but I am still looking for that great console sim.Get more detail about Tropico 3.

Fable 2 Limited Edition Buy Now

This is a really fun game to play, once you get past the part of The castle where your sibling dies-didn't mean to spoil anything, but it's part of the beginning storyline. Didn't really build up in-depth of characters depth much, mostly missions/tasks to do in the game instead of learning stuff of the main/not so main characters. I don't like how you need re-known points just to get to the next mission. I wish I could just beat up a bunch of bad guys or maybe the creators of the game could have made the people who request the heroe's services could have a little bout with them and prove themselves worthy of the responsabilities of 'big important missions' instead of taking on pointless annoying sidequests that won't even get you any gold.

If is anyone out there about to buy Fable 2, you might be better off buying something else. And for anyone who has played Fable 2 that has never played the original Fable for the Xbox, then for GOD'S SAKE PLAY IT! I'm sure you will enjoy it quite a bit-in fact I guarantee it! Play the original Fable and you will start to seriously not enjoy Fable 2 as much. A couple hours of gameplay after first getting to Oakvalle, I stopped playing Fable 2 and sold it.Get more detail about Fable 2 Limited Edition.

This is a great game with a variety of game play. You have to figure out objectives and then there are intense survival sequences. Xbox360 Fighting Stick EX 2 Decide Now

I bought this fight stick to specifically play Street Fighter 4. It came recommended to me by a friend of mine who is a fighting-game aficando and who owns multiple arcade sticks from different makers.

I enjoyed playing Street Fighter 4 with my 360 controller, but found it difficult to pull of some of the bigger combos and precise timing. In addition, I wanted an arcade stick because the last time I really played Street Fighter was in the arcades when I was a little kid. Ambivilent to spend too much money on a game I enjoy, but otherwise don't put in everyday, I wanted something inexpensive as well as reliable.

My friend recommended the EX2 fight stick. Possibly the oldest arcade stick to hit the 360, I was uncertain about it since so many iterations were already done to this model and, therefor, there were much more improved versions albiet at a much higher price.

My worries were unwarranted. As soon as I plugged this in, everything about Street Fighter suddenly came back to me. The feel of the moves, the combo patterns, etc... It's tactile. The joystick "clicks" when you move it (which I happen to like, but others may not), and the buttons can stand my abuse as a mash away on them like crazy.

The joystick itself hasn't really made me any better of a Street Fighter player on-line, but it's made the game far more enjoyable. I'd highly recommend getting this arcade stick if you have the money and want to get the most out of your Street Fighter 4. Looking forward to SUPER Street Fighter 4 with more gusto!Get more detail about Xbox360 Fighting Stick EX 2.

Tom Clancy's EndWar Right now

This game is awesome. I have never played a game for so many hours as I have this one. It's almost an obsession, there are variables which - once you see them - you have to try. "How is it different to play as this country...what if I get this upgrade instead...what if I station my men in that building...should i make a run for it or stay..." And so on and so forth. It grabs you.

This game took me about a full week to really fall comfortably into, then about a month to understand all I could do with the controls. And now, over a year later I am able to beat the levels on any difficulty. But still, I just keep wanting more and more.

In fact, since I'm a college student, I had to put my XBox in storage, as its too tempting to want to play during the school year. This game is - for me - what the "One Ring" was to Gollum. For this game is my preciousss. Yes, it calls to us now. We must go...Get more detail about Tom Clancy's EndWar.

Lowest Price LEGO Batman

I started buying the Lego games so that I could play something with my wife. We purchased Star Wars Saga complete series first and enjoyed that one. We just got Lego Batman and at present my wife, who is not an avid gamer by any stretch of the imagination, is actually a little addicted. You play as Batman and Robin, with the ability to find new power suits to alter your abilities. You can also play as the villains, as there is a whole story that includes them. All of the stories are really fun and offer some real challenges for kids and adults. Either way, this game is a lot of fun. It has frozen on us once so far, but I always assume games are going to freeze now and again on the 360. The game is also a little dark in contrast, so some things may be hard to see at times. Regardless, the game is fun, clean and well worth the money.Get more detail about LEGO Batman.

Low Price Resonance of Fate

Resonance of Fate does all the things Tri-Ace has been trying to accomplish for years. It succeeds in the areas their other games had failed in, topped off with what I believe to be their best combat system on the 360.

Eternal Sonata had a creative battle system and decent characters, but failed in premise, pacing, and (most of the) story.

Star Ocean: TLH had a great battle system, nice visuals, and interesting crafting but had abominable characters, the worst pacing I've ever seen, and a confusing, boring, and unnecessarily long story.

Infinite Undiscovery... Well, frankly it sucked. It was close to broken as far as gameplay, the story was a long string of coincidences with a vague "dumbass saves the world" plot, an unmanageable party system, and one-dimensional characters. I guess if there was anything positive... It looked nice and had nice music. That's really all I got out of it.

Resonance of Fate gets all these things right. I recognize the good aspects of all of their previous titles in this game.

The atmosphere and world they've created in Basel is a new take on the apocalyptic settings found in most FPS as of late, with a creative puzzle-style game mechanic on the world map. The mythos behind the world is slowly revealed, intermixed with the personal day-to-day experiences of your party.

The group of three bounty hunters are together at the beginning, and for the most part they stay together throughout the game. They are all complex characters, complete with reasonable responses to every situation. There is some over-the-top humor, but honestly it doesn't bother me that much. The game also delves into very interesting philosophical and religious questions, focus on fate (topical!) and personal choice vs predestination. The characters might look like your average JRPG characters, but they might surprise you in how they act.

The combat system, which is the core of the game, is very complicated and has been explained extensively in other reviews. I believe it's Tri-Ace's best work to date. In order to get into though, taking all the tutorials and investing in a lot a lot of arena practice is a necessity. Once you get into it (Which is not nearly as long or as difficult as some have said), the combat is fun, deep, and strategic. There are numerous strategies, a variety of weapons, and many useful and/or fun items.

The menus are clear and easy to navigate, the graphics, although not awe inspiring, look average to good for this generation.

My favorite part about this game is its value. I'm well over 50 hours (over halfway through in chapter 10) and it only gets better. There's a lot of content to get through, a lot of excellent story, and a lot of good times to be had.Get more detail about Resonance of Fate.

Cheapest Bully: Scholarship Edition

I bought Bully: Scholarship Edition about 6 months ago. I was just looking for a cheap game to kill time with and was real skeptical. I am real picky in graphics and was nervous that the graphics would be poor. To my surprise, it was a really good game and was glad that I bought it. I highly recommend it especially if your into Grand Theft Auto but its really its own game with its fun, humor, and lots of interactivity like mini-games (there is some cool ones of different subjects when you go to class), exploration of different groups, and evolution as you progress through grade levels. Cheap Far Cry 2

I have to say, I didn't know what to expect when I bought this game, I had only heard that it was pretty good. After playing I think its an excellent game. I've only played it for a night so far. It's the only game my wife has seen me buy that she thought she might want to try. So from my perspective and seeing her's, this game has a terrible user interface. It is not navigation friendly. If you are old enough to be thoroughly considering your options in what game to purchase next, then you are likely old enough to start having more mature tastes by now. Where To Buy Xbox 360 Headset-Earbud

I decided to go with a name brand head set for my XBOX 360 play and I had to immediately return the device. The sound was just so so and the ear piece was pretty comfortable, but the mike picked up every sound imaginable. You cannot use this product if you are not wearing headphones. It will provide wayyyyy too much feedback for your friends playing the game with you. It was so sensitive, it even picked up the chips I was eating during the play. I had to remove the headset due to all the complaints from my friends on the other end. If you do not turn your game up very loud this may work for you. It did not work for me in my theater room, even with the sound kind of low.Get more detail about Xbox 360 Headset-Earbud.

Shop For Rock Band Drum Silencers

I see a lot of people cutting these things down to "fit" on the drum pads, and I've found that wasn't necessary at all. Other sources I've read say they're supposed to cover the rim so it doesn't make so much bloody noise when you strike it (and me being a newb at drums, this happens a LOT). Really, why would they make the pads so big otherwise? I glued mine on as-is and so far they're working just fine. You'll want to work it down with your finger for a minute to make sure as much of the adhesive surface sticks to the pad as possible, but I never needed to take the scissors to them.

The only drawback is that yes, you do lose a bit of sensitivity, a problem I've solved by simply hitting the drums a little harder to compensate. When I am missing notes, it's because I've positioned the drums poorly, I'm striking the rim, or I'm just sucking at the song and missing notes to begin with.

Even though they're called "silencers," "suppressors" would be a better description. They turn that wall-piercing "CRACK!" into a quieter "WHOP!" I can still hear people playing from the other side of the house, but the noise is so much less than it used to be. It's easily masked by playing my own music or closing the door. You'll want to have a buddy test them for you and walk around the house while he or she plays to get a better idea of just how loud the drum kit is with the silencers on. No two interior walls are created equal, and in my house the walls are just too thin for any midnight drumming.

So far they are showing no signs of wear and tear or coming loose. They even make the drum kit a little more stylish! If you're really worried about the fit, you can trim the edges down, but like I said, it's not necessary. This is $20 I'm not regretting.Get more detail about Rock Band Drum Silencers.

AC/DC Live: Rock Band Track Pack

I bought this while it was on sale for $13 or so... at that price this is a fantastic value for adding some AC/DC tracks to your Rock Band game.

Tomb Raider: Underworld Review

"Tomb Raider: Underworld" (TRU from now on) is easily Crystal Dynamics best effort since they took over the TR series from Core Design. It's obvious that the designers have been listening to the fans, and they addressed nearly all of the complaints that people had about their previous attempts.

Here's what they improved:
1. Level design.
Their first attempt, "Tomb Raider: Legend" had extremely linear levels, allowing for practically no exploration. This flew in the face of everything TR was supposed to be about. They improved on this with their second game, "TR: Anniversary," but that was a remake of the original TR game. TRU is the first time that Crystal Dynamics has created their own, original, open levels. They're not quite as open as, say, the levels in TR3, but even on those occasions when you are merely progressing along a predetermined path, the world just feels more open because of its clever design and the massive scale of it all (remember how big St. Francis' Folly in TR1 felt when you first played it back in the late 90s? Well, that's NOTHING compared to enormity of some areas you'll discover in TRU! There's a level towards the end of the game where you have to scale a rotating tower, and the massive scale of it is awe-inspiring. It really adds to the sense of vulnerability you'll feel.)

2. Combat
One of the common complaints about "Legend" was that you seemed to be in a firefight with a ton of mercs every few seconds. TRU scales back the combat drastically, returning the focus to exploring, platforming and puzzle solving, with just enough combat to keep you from ever getting too relaxed. And, if you find the combat too easy (or too difficult), you can adjust the amount of damaged Lara does to her enemies (and the amount of damage that enemies do to Lara.) There are separate sliders that you can move to tailor the gameplay to your preference.

3. Zip & Alistair
These two characters were a mixed blessing in Legend. They helped provide Lara with more personality by constantly chatting with her as she explored, but they also ruined the sense of isolation, and their comments often got a bit tedious (not to mention the fact that they sometimes told you how to solve puzzles when you'd rather figure it out on your own.) In TRU, they no longer to chat with Lara as she explores. They're still in the game, and they show up in cutscenes, but they don't intefere with the adventure. Instead, Lara now has a camcorder, and at key points in certain levels, she'll film certain things and comment on them. It's a good compromise-- she still has a personality and we still get some background info on what we're exploring, but the sense of isolation that people enjoyed so much in the original games is back. Also, if you do find that you need a hint, you can ask Lara what to do. Her first response will be somewhat vague, but it might be enough. If you're still stuck, ask her again, and she'll be more specific. This is a very effective way to implement a hint system.

4. The Grapple
The grappling hook that Lara used in Legend and Anniversary is back, but it's implemented better this time around. Just like in Anniversary, Lara can use her grappling hook to run along walls, pull objects, etc. but the designers smartly avoided forcing you to use the grappling hook in situations where it's more frustrating than fun. In Anniversary, for example, there were certain wall runs that were only difficult because you were constantly battling with the controls to get Lara to do what you wanted. In TRU, the designers realized what works and doesn't work, and they seem to have kept this in mind (mostly) when designing levels. You'll still need to do wall runs, but because of the way they're set up, they're more often fun than frustrating.

5. Boss Battles (or the lack thereof...)
There are no boss battles in TRU. This could be seen as a con to some people, but I see it as an improvement. TR games, for me, are not fighting games, and always found boss battles to be more of a roadblock than entertainment. Also, unlike in Anniversary, you're never forced to pull off the tricky adrenaline headshots. If you want to do them, fine, have fun. But if you'd rather just shoot away until your enemy is dead, that's fine too.

6. Lara's moves
Lara finally feels like the character she was always meant to be because her move set has been expanded to give her more flexibility than ever. If you're hanging from a cliff, and a swarm of bats flies towards you, you know longer have to hitch yourself up to solid ground before you can start shooting at them. Just hang on with one hand and shoot with the other. There are plenty of other little new moves like this that really make the game flow better than ever, and all of the moves were motion-captured by an actual gymnast, so it feels more believable than it ever did in previous games.

7. Locales
After the first two TR games, the series started including more and more levels that took place in very non-TR-like locations, such as big cities, hi-tech towers, military bases, Paris streets, etc. TRU really brings the focus back to what TR was originally about-- exploring ancient ruins. There are a couple of levels that take place on a ship, but other than that, it's all classic TR environments.

But, as I said in the title of this review, the game is "ALMOST" perfect, meaning not everything is as it should be.
The biggest problem is that in spite of how massive the levels are, it really won't take you very long to complete this game. Now, this is partly due to the fact that Lara simply moves faster than she did in the old games, so getting from point A to point B takes less time. It's also due to the fact that you're rarely left running around aimlessly in circles trying to figure out what to do next, as you often did in the old games. These are both good things, and if these were the only reasons the game took less time to complete, I couldn't fault it at all. But the truth is, there simply aren't enough levels. There are a small handful of massive levels, and a few mini levels in between. What's feels really cheap, though, is that some of the mini levels are actually repeated! (WARNING: If you want to be completely spoiler free, skip the rest of this paragraph) For example, there's a level that takes place on a ship near the start of the game (actually, it's just a small part of the enormous first level.) It's fun the first time around. But towards the end of the game, you have to replay it, and it's pretty much identical, with only the enemies being in different places. Similarly, there's a prologue level that takes place in Croft Manor. Later in the game, you replay the EXACT same sequence. This is a cheap way to pad an already fairly short game.

Another complaint-- The game starts out a bit weak. The opening level (after the short prologue level) starts you off in a somewhat disorienting underwater sequence. It looks impressive, but it's not as much fun as it should be. And once you finally get inside, the level still doesn't make a great impression. Not to say it's bad, but it just seems a bit bland compared to the great stuff that comes later. All I can say is, stick with it and you'll be rewarded.

Some people have complained about the camera being uncooperative, so I feel I should mention it here. Honestly, I haven't had any major trouble with it. There are times when you won't be able to see something that you're supposed to jump to, but the game works around this by giving you visual clues. If you suspect that you might be able to jump safely in a certain direction, try pointing in that direction. Lara will prepare herself for the jump if it's do-able. If there isn't a safe way to jump in that direction, she'll either shake her head, or just do nothing. So although you can't always see everything, just pay attention to Lara's reactions, and you'll be fine. This is actually an improvement over previous games, where you often had to take blind leaps of faith with no indication from Lara about whether or not you'd be safe.

One other very minor complaint-- The story. It's not that the story is bad at all, and it certainly has some great moments that'll stick with you, but the villains are too rarely seen, to the point where it's easy to forget about them. Legend, I feel, did a better job of keeping the main villain central in the plot. In TRU, you'll see the villains near the start of the game, and then they pretty much go away entirely until the end.

Still, all things considered, TRU is a great game, and now that it's cheaper, its short gameplay isn't really such a factor. If you value quality over quantity, you can't go wrong with this one.

Ninja Gaiden II (Platinum Hits) This instant

For me, this game is just not any fun. I start to enjoy working my way through a level, but at the end, I will face a boss that, even when I defeat him, I am not sure how I did it, and wouldn't want to try again. But frequently, you will get stuck fighting him over and over and over until you get "lucky." And FORGET IT, if you ever put the game down and try and come back a week or two later--your rusty skills and failed recollection of special moves will doom you. You will get stuck on some boss. I hate Capcom games for the same reason.

regret the purchase and will trade it in for 3 bucks toward something less impossible. That said, if you have no life, if you have the time to play games straight through, dedicating 8 hours of your life at a time, and if you are thoroughly accomplished in this genere, you could enjoy the challenge. Or, maybe even you will find the bosses a little over the top hard.

Seriously, general audiences should stear clear of this title--if the developers eat it in the pocket book, maybe they will make it a little more enjoyable for the rest of us next time.Get more detail about Ninja Gaiden II (Platinum Hits).

Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues Best Quality

I was so excited when I heard this game was coming out--I'm not really a gamer at all and the only game I ever played on my boyfriend's XBox was the game it came with : Legoland Indiana Jones, and I loved it! I actually found it challenging but doable (I'm 22 so that should tell you something about my skills). I was almost disappointed when I beat it. So when I heard they were making another one, I was stoked. I realized after only about one evening playing it that no matter how hard I tried, I could not get into this game and found it a little boring and tedious.

1. There is a race in just about every level you do. I suck at driving in video games but in this game in particular. The controls are so fiddly that if you accidentally move a little too far to one side your vehicle hits something and flips over and you have to wait for it to flip back over. It's especially frustrating when you flip over in a pond or something because usually the vehicle won't right itself. It's just like spinning your tires in the mud in real life, except it's more irritating than real life because it's supposed to be a fun video game. Also, I hate the little race challenge things where you have to go through the targets, because, again, the driving in this game is really fiddly--even more so than the original. So the races are tedious AND frustrating... fun!

2. The game freezes... a lot. I'm glad to see that other people have this problem and it's not just our XBox.

3. You don't collect treasure chests in the levels, and the levels are much smaller. There are hardly any puzzles or secrets at all, which was what I loved about the first game and what made it so great. There is nothing really to unlock, no surprises... except car races ad nauseum. Sometimes I would be doing something that I thought would be a puzzle but then the game just... handed it to me. The puzzles seemed dumbed down.

4. The setup of the game is a mess. I like to watch the progression of the Indiana Jones stories but in this game you can unlock any level at any time in its particular movie's hub. You don't really get to see the iconic moments in the movies the way you want because you can go do the bridge fight first and then go to another level and jump out of the plane on the liferaft. It's just not the same. A lot of times I didn't even see what the level had to do with the movie at all.

5. I forgot the one other huge aspect of the game--defeating enemies. If you're not doing a car chase, you're fighting a bunch of enemies, and once you defeat those enemies... the game gives you another batch of enemies. Really repetitive.

The game is still enjoyable to a point. I would guess that if you had never played the first game you would like this game a lot. But if you've played and loved the first you can see what you're missing in this one. The levels are still pretty to look at. Indy still does cute things, but I don't think he can do the whip-kiss with Marion, Willie, and Elsa. What I was most disappointed about was that the two parts of the first game I liked the least were brought front and center in this game and the part I loved most was almost eliminated completely.

Like I said, I wanted so much to love this game, but I just couldn't. I hope Harry Potter delivers.Get more detail about Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues.

I started with rock band 2 and was just looking to add more songs to my library. Turns out, for us a little bit older people, there are more good songs on 1 than 2. Getting a bulk of songs buying this was cheaper than $2 each downloading from microsoft and not all these songs are available for download either. Didn't have to tour long to unlock all the songs, unlike 2 that took forever just to get all the 2000+ era garbage our youth calls music. Just a note, if you have rockband 2 your instruments will work for Guitar Hero III and newer, I bought most of those too for the same reason.Get more detail about Rock Band.

I never played the first 2 games and when I played Halo 3, I did not do the missions in order due to friend's availability. From the beginning you start and have an elite with you as a partner and then you have bad guys fighting along side you in certain missions and then you have the flood everywhere. Next is the little ball that tried to kill you in the last mission and nothing ever makes sense. Ill leave it at that. If you co-op the campaign, 2 people are Master Chief and the other 2 are elites.

The reason I bought this was for the helmet. I have a stand next to my TV that has the Modern Warfare 2 night vision goggles and the Batrang. The helmet is not wearable and the stand has space to keep some games or movies in. The helmet matches the color of my ODST controller that I have.

I am very happy with my purchase at half the price than what it came out originally. I would definitely recommend this item to anybody since you can still find them new and the price keeps dropping on Amazon.

Great SF game. It is a classic.

Nothing to add that the other reviews haven't said.

PROTOTYPE Decide Now

This game gets boring pretty fast after you finish exploring the city.
Everything revolves around getting points to upgrade your characters abilities. The catch is once you get more abilities, the enemies increase in level too. Instead of one attack helicopter, there are two, or four. WTF is the point??
Even on Easy level the missions can be frustrating. They are pretty sucky.
Why do programmers always make you fight dozens of enemies at the same time. How unbelievably unrealistic is that? I would prefer one or two that are challenging instead.

Gears Of War Right now

Last year when I decided to purchase an Xbox 360 despite already owning a PlayStation 3, it was because of a select few games that remained exclusive to the Microsoft console. Games such as Left 4 Dead, Halo, Crackdown and Mass Effect were incentives to purchase the console, but what finally made me get one was the anticipation of playing Gears of War. Being new to the series, I figured I should start with the first game of the franchise, so last year I purchased an Xbox 360 and Gears of War on the same day. This is a decision I wish I had made years ago.

The game starts off by placing the player in the shoes of Marcus Fenix, a member of a team known as "Gears", located on the planet Sera. Marcus commands a squadron known as Delta Squad, which includes characters such as Dominic "Dom" Santiago, Augustus "Cole Train" Cole, and Damon Baird. Their squadron is a member of the last remaining human government left on the planet, known as Coalition of Order Governments (COG). The responsibility of COG is to fight for humanity against the alien onslaught being driven by a race known as Locusts. Locusts are giant crocodile/human hybrid looking creatures who are capable of using heavy artillery against their enemies, in this case humans. Marcus is handed the responsibility of placing a resonator within the tunnels where the Locust reside, this will cause an outright extermination of the race, however the team did not properly diagnose the exact size and mapping of the tunnel the first time around, so players spent the rest of the game fighting their way through the Locusts until once again getting a chance to place a resonator within their underground tunnels.

The game features unique weapons and gameplay mechanics that make the game addictive beyond belief. Add in the ability to play the campaign mode cooperatively with other players or competitively against other players, and you have a winning formula for non-stop action. Health bars are absent, instead replace the system with status indicators which tell the player their current state of danger. This is done with the use of a flashing red screen that symbolizes impending doom unless the player takes cover long enough that the screen returns to normal. The ability to chainsaw opponents in half comes in handy, especially in instances where the player is bombarded by enemies such as Wretches. Enemies vary greatly from one another, and gameplay moments such as avoiding darkness to survive the attack of Krill is very unique.

Gears of War is visually stunning, and has mastered innovation on so many levels. The "cover mechanism" was relatively new to video games before Gears of War launched, and now it is common gameplay for third person shooters and is used in games such as Mass Effect and Uncharted. The character design is unique, the gameplay is solid, and the campaign and multiplayer modes are addicting. This makes for a great addition to any Xbox 360 collection, and Gears of War has quickly won its place on my list of favorite franchises ever created.Get more detail about Gears Of War.

Lowest Price Xbox 360 60GB LIVE Starter Pack

This is a very useful product. I figured 20GB is too small and a 120GB is too big so the 60GB was perfect. Along with the 3 months of Xbox live, this was a great deal. Highly recommended.Get more detail about Xbox 360 60GB LIVE Starter Pack.

Low Price Frontlines: Fuel of War

The game had some potential but was defeated by poor graphics, silly gameplay, difficult vehicle controls and an enemy that can make headshots while running at a mile away. Spend your money on better discount games.Get more detail about Frontlines: Fuel of War.

Save Guitar Hero Metallica

This game is a great game for older kids and up, unless the younger ones are already use to playing. The songs are challenging to say the very least. The graphics on this game were awesome. Discount Xbox 360 Refurbished 20GB LIVE Starter Pack

I purchased this son. he has had an XBOX360 since Christmas, but we got him the Arcade Model. This had everything needed to start on XBOX Live. The network cable seemed a bit short but we also bought the wireless adapter. The hard drive had a little over half of the space remaining but there is some stuff preloaded, which can be removed if wanted. Setup was a breeze, he has been having a blast on the multi-player games.Get more detail about Xbox 360 Refurbished 20GB LIVE Starter Pack.

Cheapest Final Fantasy XI The Ultimate Collection

An extremely slow game that takes you hours to make any headway. Combat is automatic and restrictive in what actions you can perform, based on a timer, so no stealing twice in five minutes for you, the master Thief. The graphics are awful by today's standards with only the music standing tall as "fair". An overall awful game, you should not have to pay to play through this, no matter what the game's slavish community says. Spend your time better, like playing an actually fun game, or studying.Get more detail about Final Fantasy XI The Ultimate Collection.

Cheap Iron Man 2

The video game tie-in to Iron Man 2 is pretty much everything you'd expect it to be: a rushed piece of shovelware that, while providing a couple sparks of entertainment, doesn't add up to being anything too enjoyable in the least. Choosing to play as either Iron Man or War Machine, Iron Man 2 pretty much follows the same formula as the first game; which is taking on baddies, flying around, and blowing stuff up. That pretty much sums up Iron Man 2 as a whole, along with a plethora of sloppy controls, sub-par graphics, and almost zero replayability. There is barely enough entertainment value for fans of the comic and/or film to garner from playing, but like most licensed video games, there isn't nearly enough here to hold your interest.Get more detail about Iron Man 2.

Buying Prince of Persia

Like many others, I'm a fan of the first two Prince of Persia games in the "Sands of Time" story line. I'm an over 50 year old gamer who likes medium difficulty games. I never made it through "Two Thrones" because that chariot was just too hard. I've replayed the first two countless times!

This one, while a bit different, had great potential. The combat, however, is not very good - blocking has to be very quick, while using combos is really slow. I also miss the combos off walls in the other series. Elika only gives you the ability of another kind of attack (which you can't always use) and the ability to never die, as she always rescues you when you fall.

What I really don't like is all the dialog. Blah, blah, blah. And you can't always stop it and get back to playing. A story is fine to have, but you play a game to PLAY. I just hope the next one in the series is better.

Buy Lego Rock Band

Ok, first of all, I am a big enthusiast of Rock Band games, been playing Rock Band 2 for quite a while and am always downloading new songs. That means I'm not new to the genre. That being said, I was always really skeptical of Lego Rock Band. To me, it seemed like a cheap way to "milk the cow", and I was always saying that the songs present in this game should have been released as DLC instead.

Some time ago I decided I just needed more songs, and just bought this game. Boy, was I surprised.

First of all, I come from a pretty rockish background, and only nowadays am starting to enjoy more popish music. When I was younger, I'd listen to pretty brutal metal, so people sometimes are amazed when they learn that I have downloaded Lady Gaga songs to play in RB2. I didn't even know most of the songs included in Lego Rock Band, and I must say I really enjoyed most of them. Some reviewers have classified the setlist for this game as "hit and miss", but for me, it's filled with hits with only a few misses. The songs are very upbeat and have a happy feeling about them, but most of all, they are really fun to play.

Out of the setlist, these for me are the greatest hits: "Summer of '69", "Life is a Highway", "Make me Smile (Come Up and See Me)" (this one has such a cool acoustic guitar solo), "Monster", "Valerie".

The biggest miss: "Kung Fu Fighting". Don't get me wrong, I think the song is cool. But the charting is PAINFUL. Really painful. I don't know what Harmonix was thinking, but it ruined the song if you play on Expert guitars.

Alright, now about the game. The game itself rocks. It really does. Let me tell you why, in my humble opinion: because of the Power Challenges. In them, you have some "missions", if you can call them that... they may vary from defeating a big octopus or escaping from a huge mecha-dinosaur, but you always use the power of rock to complete the quest. And it's really cool if you play as a band, because the players will take turns performing, which gives everyone little breaks to enjoy the background animation and also watch each other's charts. I really hope they advance this concept for Rock Band 3, because it adds a new level of storytelling to the game, and it's a lot of fun. I play with my brother and we both really enjoyed the Power Challenges.

Exporting the songs for use in Rock Band 2 is mandatory in my opinion, and as I have already written, the song selection is very good. It will add a lot of color to your present RB2 setlist and those songs are generally a big hit with people that come over to my place to play. "Ghostbusters", "You Give Love a Bad Name", "Two Princes", I mean, come on, everyone loves those songs. Everyone. Hell, even P!nk's "So What" is fun to play. It pains me to admit that, but it's true. The chart is fun and I play it all the time. There, I said it.

So, in short: I was skeptical, and now I am recommending this game wholeheartedly. 5 stars, congratulations to both Lego and Harmonix.Get more detail about Lego Rock Band.

Order Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad

i got this game fully knowing it wasn't gonna be very good, but i had no idea just how terrible it would be. I thought it would be at least good for a few chuckles and probably just a mindless button masher. How wrong i was.

It looks like an xbox 1 game, the controls are sloppy as hell, and theres NO tutorial for the confusing combat system. I thought it would be a regular button masher but there's an elaborate timing system to the variuos combos that never gets explained. Also theres a lot of extra mechanics like your sword getting bloodied that are never explained either (evidently its good to have it bloody sometimes but most of the time its not.) Upgrades are not explained either. None of these are implemented well or ever explained

The manual is utterly worthless and theres no real guide online because the games so garbage no one bothered to write one

avoid this game. Its probably the worst game ive played in yearsGet more detail about Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad.

Where To Buy Battle Fantasia

This is a wonderful game IF you like the old school street fighter style.

This isn't for those that like the turbo speed button mashing multi-hit air combo players.

The characters are well done, the moves are what we've grown familiar with, the look is normal anime style.

It is cheap 2D fighting fun.Get more detail about Battle Fantasia.

Shop For Xbox 360 Official Rock Band Wireless Fender Wooden Stratocaster Replica - Candy Apple Red Metallic Finish

I recently got this and have played with it for a few hours and really, really like it. My only complaints are that the strum bar is alittle loud on the clicking noise, I prefer the silent strum bar of the stock Strat that comes with RB2. My second complaint is that the back knob, top of the guitar under the strum bar, is pretty hard on the ridges and I seem to keep scraping up my pinky on it when playing fast, I don't want to take a dremel to it and smooth it out as I love the look of this too much, but it may have to come to that.

On the positive side I LOVE the fret button, their soft, easy to press, and easy to do hammer ons/pull offs. The look and feel of the finish is fan-freakin-tasic! I love the look and feel of this beast and minus my 2 complaints, I love this thing and will be using for a long time.Get more detail about Xbox 360 Official Rock Band Wireless Fender Wooden Stratocaster Replica - Candy Apple Red Metallic Finish.

Lost Odyssey

This game is fantastic! The random battles can become tedious, but the story is very involved and intriguing. The characters are well-developed, you even find yourself becoming attached to them. The environment is just gorgeous and the background and characters are very well-rendered. Some of the portions where your party is divided can be annoying, but you always find all sorts of cool items during those phases. Overall, a beautiful, smooth, intriguing game.Get more detail about Lost Odyssey.

Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection Top Quality

The Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection is quite fun. I love the early 90s games such as Street's of Rage (1,2,3) and Golden Axe (arcade version was better though). And of course, there's always the original Sonic the Hedgehog games...very nostalgic of the pre-Playstation/N-64 days. The only reason I give it 4 stars for overall rating is because I feel like there were other games Sega made that should have made the list (personal opinion); Gunstar Heroes, General Chaos and Mutant League Football are among some I think need to be included. It would also have been fun to see Desert Strike, Dick Tracy and Road Rash 3...Just a thought...still hours of fun to just sit and reminisce about old times.Get more detail about Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection.

Xbox 360 Wireless Microphone This instant

Not a very good quality microphone. It seems to compress the voice and reduce enjoyment would recommend the rockband mic with built in controller. Microsoft should seriously look into the design and maybe partner up with an expert in the field such as Sure or AKG. Any way vent over and can I still send it back?
