I bought this item because I had heard that it was necessary to cool down the XBOX 360, because it would get to hot. After reading several reviews, and speaking with some friends I decided to buy it. It DOES work great, BUT I would only use it if you plan on taking it off the XBOX after your done playing. You see I read some negative reviews about using these cooling fan products that they trap hot air inside which is true IF you leave the Intercooler TS on after you are done playing. I have found that it works great and does what it says as long as you follow this advise. Connect the Intercooler to your XBOX while playing. After you are done wait until the fans stop (which is about a minute) and dismount the Intercooler and set it aside. This allows for the rest of the air to be released, and will prolong the life of the Intercooler. I notice a big difference in the temperature of my XBOX when using this product, then when I do not. So if you XBOX is accessible all the time this product is for you. You will also want to give enough room between the wall and the rear of the XBOX at all times for a good air flow.
