Purchased this game with a big savings from getting at Best Buy or Walmart - game came fast and packaging was a little hurried i thought but still the game and fishing rod is a blast. Took about an hour to figure out how to cast the thing - the instructions in the book are not too clear so would reccomend getting online and watching the tuturial that is availabe by video. Once you have the casting down it is a blast - i have never fished with a lure before and this is a good training tool for that purpose and when you do get a bite the rod feels just like a real rod with a fish fighting on the end .. the fish sometimes leap out of the water when putting up a good fight!. the fishing rod is made of plastic and could of been made better as it feels like it might break at any given moment .. but as for realism -hands down the best fishing game out there.Get more detail about Bass Pro Shops: The Strike Bundle with Fishing Rod.
